Utilizing CBD + THC Extracts for Alleviating Nausea and Vomiting Symptoms

Extracts from marijuana may alleviate chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, according to a controlled study involving cancer patients at the Royal Thai Air Force Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, conducted in 2022. Fifty-four participants received marijuana extracts containing THC and CBD, or a placebo. The nausea scores for both the marijuana and placebo groups were 2.11 and 2.99, respectively, with over half of the participants (36 out of 54) reporting side effects such as dizziness, dry mouth, confusion, anxiety, and palpitations in both groups.
